Licences: Anglers do not require a licence to fish recreationally in Queensland, except if fishing in some stocked impoundments. This means places like hinz dam and little Nerang dam will require a licence to fish. It may only cost 6 dollars for a day licence but all the money goes back into research and redevelopment of the fish species in the dams.
